terms of service
By ordering a commission from me, puppitoys, you affirm to have read and agreed to the following Terms of Service listed below. Failure to abide by the Terms of Service may result in a rejected/canceled commission with or without a refund, and/or a blacklist/public service announcement.Last Updated: August 12, 2024
section one || will/will not draw
The artist is willing to draw any of the following:
> original characters
> anthro characters
> feral characters
> fursonas
> fanart
> gore
> any couple type/sexuality
> vent art
The artist is NOT willing to draw any of the following:
> humans
> mecha
> sexualized underage characters
> diaperfurs/babyfurs
> pedophilic relations
> incestuous relations
> feral pornography/zoophilia
> characters with pure black coloring/markings (#000000, 0,0,0)
> characters with pawprints on hips
section two || general
1. i have the right to refuse the commission for whatever reason, with or without explanation.2. i have the right to cancel the commission for whatever reason, with or without explanation (see section six for more information on refunds).3. the client has a right to cancel the commission for whatever reason, with or without explanation (see section six for more information on refunds).4. i have the right to upload the commission on any/all social media unless specified by the client beforehand to keep the commission private.5. payment is to be made after the client has approved the sketch. the sketch will be resized and watermarked. the commission will be on an "on hold" status until payment has been received.6. i do not work with deadlines/rushed orders. i work at my own pace.7. i do not work on a "first come first serve" basis. small commissions/commissions that do not take much time may be worked on in between larger commissions/commissions requiring more time.8. the client may contact the artist at any time to ask for a progress check on the commission, but no more than once every 2 days!
section three || image rights
1. the client may make minor edits to the completed commission (ex. adding text, cropping, borders, changing brightness, hue, saturation, etc.). the edited piece MUST have my watermark still visible. watermarks will always be in the corners of my pieces.2. the client may use/reupload the commission for personal/non-commercial use, but only if proper credit to me (@puppitoys) is provided.3. the client may not use the commission for any commercial use unless discussed with the artist beforehand.4. the client may not claim the commission as his/her/their own work, whether (s)he/they did or did not make any edits to the commission.5. i do not claim ownership of any of the characters/subjects portrayed in the commission. characters belong to their respective creator(s).
section four || delivery/turnaround
1. all commissions will be done digitally. the client is paying for a service/digital good and will not require any shipping of any kind (unless it is specified beforehand).2. all commissions will be sent to the client in a .png format. no layer files (.psd, .sai, etc.) will be provided.3. all commissions will be sent via email/discord/telegram with the completed commission’s .png attached.4. unless specified not to be uploaded to the public, all commissions will be uploaded to the artist’s social media. the client may request to remain anonymous if preferred!5. depending on the style and queue i have, the estimated turnaround is about two (2) weeks to two (2) months at the latest. if i fail to complete the commission in this timeframe, the client with be contacted and informed of the status of their commission and offered a full refund.
section five || payment
1. payment is to be made after the client has approved the sketch. the client is allowed to send payment upfront, however, it is heavily preferred if they wait until i have completed the sketch.2. payment is to be made via Paypal only. i do not accept virtual currency (deviantart points, amino coins, etc.) or any crypto/bitcoin.3. paypal payment is to be done in usd (united states sollars) only. if you cannot pay in usd, please do the conversion beforehand and make sure the alternate currency is equal to my prices in usd!4. the client will pay for the commission via an invoice.5. the client does not need to pay extra for any fees that paypal might have.6. payment must be sent within 72 hours after confirmation. if payment is not made on time, the commission will be canceled.
section six || refunds
1. if the client cancels his/her/their commission for whatever reason, the client will receive a partial refund, depending on how much of the commission has been finished:
a.100% refunded if only the sketch is done/not started
b. 65% refunded if in the lineart stage
c. 50% refunded if in the coloring stage
d. 30-20% refunded if in the shading/final touches
e. 0% refunded if the piece is completed, nor will they receive any files of the commission. it will be scrapped.
2. if i cancel the commission for whatever reason, the client will receive a full refund, in addition to a .png file of whatever progress of the commission has been completed.3. the client will not be refunded if (s)he/they are unsatisfied with the commission after completion. if the client would like changes made after completion, i am willing to negotiate and work with whatever is needed! however, changes made after the coloring stage will have an extra charge of $5 (unless it is a character design mistake on behalf of me).
section seven || commission process
1. the client orders a commission via DMs or commissions post on social media.2. i will contact the client within 72 hours of accepting the commission. upon acceptance, the final price and details of the commission will be discussed.3. the client will receive a rough sketch (watermarked) of the commission. any and all major revisions and changes will be done at this stage.4. the client approves the sketch. payment is to be made via paypal within 72 hours.5. upon confirmation that the payment has been received, i will work and finalize the commission, sending WIPs at the lineart and coloring stage for last minute changes.6. upon completion of the commission, the client will receive the commission file via email, discord, or telegram. only minor changes (ex. brightness, color adjustment, character markings, etc.) can be made at this point. any and all major revisions will either be rejected or have an extra charge.7. if permitted, i will post the final piece to my social media! don't be scared to say no to this, i don't mind!
